Zanteweddings.com organised another lovely day at Tsiolis Gardens in Tsilivi for these two lovely people’s wedding! Stephen and Sarah and their families were very polite and sweet. All the best you two!

The Wedding of Kieran & Sinead, 21 May 2008. Ο Γάμος του Κήραν & της Σινέντ.

Kieran & Sinead got married yesterday in the Catholic church of St. Mark’s. It was a touching ceremony and the two of them seemed very serene. They are both gentle and calm people (or were they just very nervous?!) and it was an honour being there for them. Francesca (Zanteweddings.com) did a great job once again! We wish you all the best for your future together. Go mbeannaí Dia is Muire duit.

Ο Κήραν και η Σινέντ από την Ιρλανδία παντρεύτηκαν χτες στην Καθολική εκκλησία του Αγ. Μάρκου στην Ζάκυνθο. Και οι δυο τους φαινόντουσαν πολύ ήρεμοι (ή μήπως ήταν πολύ αγχωμένοι;;) κατά την διάρκεια της συγκινιτικής αυτής τελετής. Η Φραντζέσκα (Zanteweddings.com) έκανε πολύ όμορφη δουλειά και πάλι. Παιδιά να ζήσετε! Go mbeannaí Dia is Muire duit.

Πόσο επεξεργαζόμαστε τις φωτογραφίες μας | How much photoshopping we do to our pictures

Η επεξεργασία που κάνουμε στο Photoshop στις φωτογραφίες μας έχει σαν σκοπό να κάνει μια ήδη πολύ καλή φωτογραφία φανταστική χωρίς να χάσει την φυσικότητα της. Κατά κύριο λόγο κάνουμε επεξεργασία φωτός και χρωμάτων. Στο παρακάτω παράδειγμα η αριστερή φωτογραφία είναι απείραχτη και η δεξιά αποτέλεσμα επεξεργασίας στο Photoshop. Όταν λάβετε CD με τα “αρνητικά” και επιμεληθείτε τις εκτυπώσεις μόνοι σας, οι φωτογραφίες είναι απείραχτες, ενώ άμα κάνουμε την εκτύπωση εμείς, επεξεργαζόμαστε την εικόνα για να έχουμε το καλύτερο δυνατό αποτέλεσμα.

The photoshopping we do on our pictures is aimed at making an already very good picture into a fantastic one without it losing its natural appeal. We mostly colour correct and adjust the lighting. Below example shows an untouched photograph on the left, and the resulting image after our caring photoshop work on the right. When you receive digital images on CD and do your own printing, the images will be “as shot”, straight from the camera, whereas when we do the printing, we give the images our tender photoshop care.

H Βάπτιση της Έφης, 17-5-2008, The Christening of Efi

Ξαναγυρίσαμε στην εκκλησία του χωριού μας για να παραβρεθούμε στην βάπτιση του δεύτερου παιδιού των φίλων και συνχωριανών μας, Άγγελος και Μαρία. Από το πολύ γέλιο κοντέψανε να μας πέσουνε οι κάμερες από τα χέρια…!! Ρωτήστε τις δύο νονές-πειραχτήρια, Σπυριδούλα και Ιωάννα… Στο δε γλέντι στο πολύ ωραίο εστιατόριο Ambrosia στις Αλυκές  φύγαμε τελευταίοι. Κολλήσαμε με τις δυο φιλενάδες μας-πυροτεχνήματα, Βίκη και Χριστίνα και γενικά η όλη δεξίωση ήταν μεγάλη επιτυχία.

Παιδιά να σας ζήσει! Κουμπάρες, πάντα άξιες!

We went back to our village’s church this Saturday for the Christening of our friends’ little daughter. We nearly dropped our cameras from laughing so much – ask the two Godmothers, Spiridoula and Ioanna, why… At the party afterwards at the lovely Ambrosia in Alykes we were the last to leave. We got stuck with our “explosive” friends Vicky and Christina – the reception was a great success.

The Wedding of Mat & Zoe, 14 May 2008. Ο γάμος του Ματ & της Ζώη.

Mat & Zoe met each other in Zakynthos a few years ago when they were both working as holiday reps. For their wedding they couldn’t imagine going anywhere else than coming back here to celebrate the most important day of their lives. The island bears so many memories for them and for their lives together. It was a wonderful day, and although it had rained just prior to the wedding, the sun came out eventually. The ceremony took place at the famous Agnandi Restaurant in Xyrokastelo, Vasilikos and then everybody continued the party at the Cronulla Hotel in Kalamaki. We had a wonderful time with Mat & Zoe- they are so relaxed and fun to be with. Dean’s tale of how the two met is unforgettable – “Zoe hated Mat when they first met”… Enjoy!!!

Ο Ματ και η Ζώη πρωτογνωριστήκανε εδώ στην Ζάκυνθο πριν χρόνια, δουλεύοντας εδώ σαν ξεναγοί. Το μόνο μέρος που πέρασε από το μυαλό τους όταν αποφάσισαν να παντρευτούν ήταν η Ζάκυνθος! Έχουν τόσες αναμνήσεις εδώ… Αν και στην αρχή έβρεξε, τελικά τους έκανε μια πανέμορφη ημέρα. Συννέβαλε και η Τζόης, η μητέρα της Ζώη, που τους καμάρωνε από ψιλά. Μετά τον γάμο στο ξακουστό εστιατόριο “Αγνάντι” στον Βασιλικό το πάρτι συνεχίστηκε στο ξενοδοχείο Cronulla Hotel στο Καλαμάκι. Περάσαμε υπέροχα με τα παιδιά – είναι τόσο χαλαροί και αστείοι!! Η πιο ωραία στιγμή ήταν όταν ο φίλος τους Ντην διηγήθηκε πως έιχανε πρωτογνωριστεί: “Η Ζώη μισούσε τον Ματ στην αρχή!!” Απολαύστε!

The Wedding of Lee & Beverley, 9 May 2008.

Beverley and Lee, who both live in Zakynthos, got married here on Friday in a beautiful ceremony at Alexandra Beach in Tsilivi. Their wedding was coordinated by ZanteWeddings.com – great job, as always, Frances!

We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely atmosphere on the beach!

ουφ! τι Σαββατοκύριακο! oof! what a weekend!

Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ !! Και στις τέσσερις οικογένειες που μας προτιμήσανε… Δουλέψαμε πολύ σκληρά αλλά άξιζε τον κόπο! (βέβαια αυτήν την στιγμή αν και δουλεύουμε χωρίς διακοπή από το Σαββατοκύριακο έχουμε ακόμα ΠΟΛΥ δρόμο μπροστά μας για να σχεδιάσουμε και τα τέσσερα άλμπουμ και να μοντάρουμε και τα τέσσερα DVD…) Αλλά γουστάρουμε να είμαστε κολλημένοι μπροστά στην οθόνη μας μέχρι η κάθε φωτογραφία, η κάθε σελίδα ενος άλμπουμ και η καθέ σκηνή είναι τέλειες…! ΠΟΛΥ γουστάρουμε ρε παιδί μου!

Thank you!! To all four families for choosing us! It was a lot of work but worth it! (of course at this moment although we have been working non-stop since the weekend, we still have A LOT of work to do designing all four albums and editing all four DVDs!…) But we love it!!!

Ο Μάκης και η Κρίστη βαπτίζουν την κορούλα τους Αγγελική! 4-5-2008, Makis & Kristy christen their baby girl Aggeliki!

Οι φίλοι μας Μάκης και Κρίστη, των οποιων τον γάμο είχαμε φωτογραφήσει τον Οκτώβριο 2006, βαπτίσαμε την Κυριακή το μεσημέρι την γλυκήτατη κορούλα τους – της έχουμε μια ιδιαίτερη αδυναμία… Παιδιά να σας ζήσει! Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ για την πρόσκληση.

Βάπτιση Ιουλίας, 4-5-2008. The Christening of Ioulia.

Ο συμπάθειες μας, ο Παναγιώτης και η Ελένη, βαπτίσανε την Κυριακή το βράδυ την κορούλα τους… (αφού καταφέρανε να ξεκλειδωθούνε από το σπίτι τους….!!!) Ήδη έχει περάσει πάνω από ένας χρόνος από τότε που παντρευτήκατε; Έμενα μου φαίνεται σαν χτες! (βλέπε http://story-studios.com/blog/?p=36 ). Ήταν ωραία στο μυστήριο και στον “Ποπολάρο”. Ελπίζουμε και ‘σεις να περάσατε καλά!

Panagiotis & Eleni christened their baby girl on Sunday evening… after they managed to get themselves locked out of their house with the help of a locksmith!! Is it a year already since you two got married?!
